For years Hilda and Ed Peck, Sr., residents of Gainesville, FL, had vacationed in Daytona Beach and considered it their second home. In 1969 they made the decision to build the first oceanfront condominium in this entire area. It was such a success, they made Daytona their permanent home, opened Peck Realty and have either developed and/or handled the sales for over 30 condominiums in the Daytona Beach area. They are responsible for not only developing the first condominium on Daytona Beach, but for also developing the tallest and largest complexes in this entire area. Their developments have won numerous awards for design, amenities, and decor. Throughout the years the success of Peck Realty has depended on quality products, reasonable prices, and satisfied customers.  In April 2000, the Pecks decided to turn the reigns of the company over to the their daughter Sherry Peck Davidson and her husband, Terry Davidson.  Sherry, who has been a Vice President and Sales Director and began with the company in 1973, is now Broker of Record.  Terry, who was the Executive Vice President, Project Coordinator, and Co-Developer in several projects, now holds the title of Executive Director.  Since both the Davidsons have been so involved with Peck Realty for over 20 years in various capacities (see Agent Profiles), it is a natural gravitation.  Ed Peck, Sr. has not retired and is in the office on a daily basis, however this change allows him more freedom and less responsibility.  As for Peck Realty, it is still a family owned and operated company that considers service to its customers the primary goal.
